Question: I was told pasta is vegan is this true!?
Answers:
Almost every Boxed dried Pasta I have seen is vegan , Ronzoni , Barilla , etc etc

What you can not eat is Fresh made pasta because it is made with egg!.


I eat pasta all the time

Of course always check ingredients like egg noodles are an exception ( even though they do make a vegan version also!.!.lol)
If you are going out!.!.just call !.!.many restaurants do Not use egg pasta !.!. it is a lot more costly !.!.and Does not store or last the same as dry

I'm sure you can get specially made vegan pasta, but pretty much all regular fresh pasta is made with eggs, so no it's not vegan!. Dry pasta is usually vegan but read the ingredients before you buy it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i buy lots of pasta that is vegan!. Just read the ingredients!. If you are eating out, ask the waiter if it has eggs!. Olive Garden uses eggs in all its pasta so don't eat there!. Macaroni Grill does not use eggs so that is safe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

dried pasta is usually vegan unless you buy egg noodles!. Check the label on your pasta!. There's not much in it except wheat flour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
