Is it okay to eat this way?!


Question: Is it okay to eat this way!?
I'm going raw vegan, trying to reach the 100% mark and was thinking about food grouping at meals!.
So, fruits for breakfast, leafy greens for lunch, root vegetables (and corn) for dinner with coconut water throughout the day!.

I'm raw vegan (not 100%) I eat 5 meals a day, and my last meal can be cooked!.
Read some books about the topic, look up videos, other people's experiences etc!.!.!.
For me being raw vegan makes me feel energetic, happy, comfortable, and clean!
Your foods that you "plan to be eating in a day" is pretty good in my opinion!. But you should definitely include MORE leafy greens so you get enough calcium, and iron!.
You can take supplements (I take calcium, iron, and b12 just to be safe)!.
I myself wouldn't go 100% raw because I still like to have fun and I just can not give up my stir-fried tofu and oven baked potatoes lol!.

First of all congratulations on going Vegan!

Even though the raw Vegan is a good choice and the foods that you have listed look ok to me, I don't see any fatty acid sources like nuts and seeds!. Remember that you need fat in your diet!. Sources like Avocado, Nuts and Seeds are an excellent way to get them and can be eaten raw!. also, oils like Canola and Extra Virgin Olive Oil are good options!.

About the combinations, you don't have to worry too much about combining you food exactly!. Just be sure to eat a wide variety of foods and your body will take care of the rest!.

No,,Where is your protein!? And you need at least 1200 calories a day!.

Without enough protein, your hair will start to come out and your bones will get brittle!. Without enough calories, your body will go into starvation mode!.

I think the most important and often forgotten part of any diet is balance!. Grouping your foods leads to lack of certain vitamins and minerals!.

if your body can take this lifestyle then it's all fine!. this is what matters!. some bodies are fine with raw diet, others are not!. depends on your type!.

As for your protein, maybe throw in some nuts!? Just to be sure you are getting enough :)

Oh, and whats the difference between vegan, and raw vegan!? do raw vegans just eat fresh food!? no canned stuff!?

I probably should be asking my own question for this :P


ADD: Thats really cool about the coconut water, its amazing that it can be used as blood plasma! Vegan-ism (if thats a word) is so interesting, its very noble, but Im not sure I could cope with no canned food!.!.!.!.I just love my baked beans lol :)
