Boar bristle brushes??!
I don't eat, wear, or use anything that comes from dead animals or animals that are treated badly!. Are boar bristle brushes bad to use!? I mean, do they just cut off their bristles to use or do they treat them inhumanely or kill them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Most Companies kill or use the bristle from killed Boars !.!.!. A few CLAIM to just shear them humanely ,
As someone who has been in the textile business over 20 years , I would never trust someone overseas claiming to be humane , I would also not trust them in this country unless I saw it with my own 2 eyes !. I have seen how sheep are treated for wool and it is Anything but humane!. ( there are a very few who treat them well)
Please Do not buy any Natural Bristles because chance are some animal was Very badly treated and /or killed for their hair !.
Thanks for asking

You should consider using a synthetic one!. I'm a hair stylist and vegan and the "boar bristle" brush I use is 100% cruelty free!. I'm a big fan because even the synthetic ones are great at spreading the sebum (oil) in your hair!.There are lots of options available so you can be sure to find one you love that also suits your hair type!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're a vegan than you can't use a boar bristle brush, just like you can't consume eggs, or dairy, or even honey!. That's just the way veganism is sweetie!.
Edit- I'm just sayin' it as it is people!. What's with all the thumbs downs!? It's the truth!.
Hahaha, I'll probably get more now!. Oh well, you all can go for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think we can't use boar bristle brushes!. The bristles come from the boar skin and is probably a by-product of slaughtering them for their meat!. (Toothbrushes used to be boar bristles, too, from the neck area, where the hairs are finer and shorter!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is much more efficient and cheaper to use bristle from slaughter byproducts after the boar is used for meat!. I'm sure that's where most of it comes from!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
