What to eat instead of eggs?!
hey Iam a new vegetarian and soon i plan on becoming a vegan and i just wanted to know what i could eat instead of eggs for my protein and do i even need to because i know that people consume more protein then they should anyhowWww@FoodAQ@Com

Protein isn't a concern!. It's in almost everything you eat - beans, seeds, nuts, legumes, veggies, whole grains, soy!.!. Although it was thought that you needed to eat certain foods eaten together to get the complete protein that's not true!. Your body knows what it needs - just be sure to eat a variety of foods and you're fine for protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
for the entree or loaf garbanzo eggs
1 can garbanzos and liquid
puree till smooth then use 1/4 cup for 1 egg in a recipe
you need to be sure that you are getting complete protein
beans + grians is a protein
grains + nuts or seeds make a complete protein
nuts or seeds + beans make a complete protein
you can be specific or you can get them generally by makeing your own chashew gravy nut or grain milks or as far as i figure you might be able to use store milks such as soy, almond rice dream ect!.!.!.!.

the combination of beans and pasta makes a complete protein!. beans and cheese the same!.if you want to go vegan tho i would consider adding a vitamin supplement to my diet!. you can get enough nutrients to survive but if you expend alot of energy you will probably need a supplementWww@FoodAQ@Com
Tofu and some of its offshoots would be a good protein replacement for eggs, not as cheap but worthy!. Suggest you consult some good books and your doctor before switching for health reasons!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meat carries most of our protein and becuz you are cutting this away from your diet you will need to find other means to replace it!.
Do your homework on veganism (if there is a word)!. They will help you!.
