What foods do I have to eliminate to become vegan?!

Question: What foods do I have to eliminate to become vegan?
Ive been vegetarian for a few years and I've decided to become vegan. I don't know much on how to do it. What do I have to stop eating? I know eggs and milk. Does cheese and chocolate have to go?

I can recommend going to the Vegetarian & Vegan Society website.
Don't worry about not getting enough nutrients - with a properly balanced vegan diet it is practically impossible to not get enough.
Go for it

With your limited knowledge of food I would advise against going Vegan. Cheese is made from milk which comes from cows so yes it has to go. Chocolate is also made from milk so yes that has to go. A vegan diet is very limited. You cannot have any food derived from animals so honey is out as well. All meats and meat products, all dairy foods, eggs etc..etc.. a vegan diet is difficult to get enough protein and also a boring way to eat.You are only allowed fruit, vegetables, legumes (soya, chickpeas, kidney bean, lentils etc.., soya products like tofu and tempeh and grains. That's it.

Nothing that comes from an animal(Wool, Sheepskin, Fur, Leather, Etc)

cheese has to go and you can eatsome chocolate. read the ingredients. dark chocolate. just eat simple foods. : )

vegan 7 yrs

Cheese and chocolate have to go because they have milk in them. I have a vegan friend that doesn't eat honey because bees make honey! Good luck to you!

stay vegetarian, is healthy and not as extreme as being vegan
