After not eating meat for a while will it taste bad?!

Question: After not eating meat for a while will it taste bad?
A few years ago I was a very picky eater and did not like eating most types of meat. My dad started cooking and I was forced to eat it. I remember thinking that it tasted bad. It has been a few years now and I don't mind eating most meat excluding beef. So I was wondering if I stopped eating meat for sometime and ate it again would it taste bad?

Answers:

If you did not like it before, you probably will not like it now. If you loved it before, you will probably love it now. So more then likely you will still not enjoy it very much. But who knows, of course. If you want to help save the planet and the animals, being a vegetarian [or a flexitarian] is a great thing, though.

Everyone is different, but it certainly is my experience. I became a vegetarian because I gave up meat for Lent one year, by the time 40 days passed my taste for meat had dwindled considerably. I've been a vegetarian for 13 years now and sometimes I'll happen upon some meat accidentally and it tastes so horrible to me.

Well, sometimes your tastes change - there's a very strong possibility that it will taste bad again, but this is not rock solid fact. Try it, and if you don't like it, become a vegetarian again! Simple ;)

Taste is subjective. It's up to you to decide whether or not something tastes good to you.

Possibly. Your taste buds change when you eliminate certain foods for some time.

it will taste different, and weird

yes

i always think of the phrase that u cant miss something you never had.

I doubt it. Some long term vegans who have recently gone back to eating meat because of their health, report that meat tastes wonderful to them. But taste is an individual thing so you'd just have to try it and see.....or not.
