Question: Have I had enough to eat today?
Hi well i was just wondering if i had eaten enough today, I am trying to lose weight so here goes
I have been up since 6am went to put the horses in the field,
came home had a small slice of toast for breakfast
then was on the treadmill for an hour (ish)
had 3 crackers for lunch ( jacobs cream crackers)
then went to muck the horses out
and for tea i have had a small tuna salad and half a slice of bread
i also have drunk 2litres of water today so far and have anoter 2 litres next to me drink
what do you think? thanks Tami xxx

Nowhere near enough!
You'll lose weight, but your gonna hit a plateau or gain weight pretty soon if you keep your body in starvation mode like that.
Breakfast - eat whatever in a normal portion, it will be burnt off. Have a bowl of bran flakes, shredded wheat, weetabix or 2 slices of toast.
Snacks - fruit, or small amount of nuts
Lunch - salad with chicken or fish, or a salad sandwich on 'hovis nimbles bread' only 48 calories a slice.
Snacks - fruit, small amounts.
Dinner - salad, or lean meas with veggies.

Your exercising so you CAN eat more. Cut down on the water though, many dieters feel that drinking unnecessarily will make them lose weight...no. You'll gain water weight. You need to be abe to sweat it out. If your thirsty drink, and have enough through the day (e.g. mug of green tea with your meals) but don't drink just for the sake of it. This is where many people go wrong.
Also, don't deny yourself the occasional treat, in small quantities. Moderation is key.

3 crackers (asummed topping): 300cal
small tuna salad + 1/2 slice bread: 350cal

Top-end guess at 800-900kcal all day? An hour on the treadmill (depending on your weight/exertion) can burn 1/2 that.

You're not doing yourself any favours, there's not enough energy left in your food intake to perform normal biological functions properly.

You should double your food intake and keep with the treadmill.



This would not be enough to feed a rabbit, you must be starving. You will not successfully lose weight but just make yourself ill. To loose and maintain an healthy weight you need to change your eating habits not go on a diet. You need to add fruit and vegetables,protein and more carbs and cut out sugar and fats.



um no. you are eating carbs but you also need fruits and veges for a balanced diet. if you are trying to lose weight, dont over do it. because sometimes if you deprive your body of the nutrition it needs than it can cause illness so might as well eat a good amount and exercise at the same time.



Being that active you should eat more and you should eat some FRUIT and VEGETABLES.
