What kind of mock meats would work on a vegan pizza?!

Question: What kind of mock meats would work on a vegan pizza?
Ive had the biggest craving for one of those incredibly meaty pizzas, and I have not eaten meat since summer 2009. I am vegan and I was wondering what would be the best mock meats for a "Meat" Lover's pizza :) I have lightlife's smartdeli pepperoni, and I was just curious if you knew of any good mock meats that would be good on pizza.

And I'm using Daiya mozzerella shredded cheese.
Merci d'avance.

Answers:

gimme lean, vegan ground "beef", chopped up tofurkey italian "sausages", "ham", "chicken".

The possibilities are endless!

I use vegie hot dogs, diced and fried before putting on the pizza.
You could use tvp as ground beef but it might be a bit gross depending on how you prepare it. I put tamari in with tvp when I boil it and then mix with a rich tomato sauce. Using it sparingly, it could really add something to your meaty vegan pizza.

I am not vegan or vegitarian but the fae meats are just yucky to me.

If you like them loo into the morning star sausage, and add lot of mushrooms (pre cook them just a bit) as mushrooms can be a good "mock meat" and they aren't overly processed.

If you're a vegan why do you need mock meat? It's hypocritical for a vegan to eat any kind of mock meat. I don't buy the "just because we don't eat meat doesn't mean we don't like the flavor" excuse.
