What are the most nutritious Fruit & Veg?!
Answers:
Spinach is extremely healthy, full of iron and vitamins. As for fruit, a blueberry is packed full of all sorts of crazy things that are good for you.
A great thing to have is a homemade smoothie. Make it with a little soy milk (I don't drink that stuff by itself, but it's fantastic in smoothies). Make it a smoothie with your favorite fruits and include blueberries. Also add a bit of spinach (you won't taste it) to boost the health factor.
They are all very healthy. Lately, I've been eating a lot of apples and oranges as they are in season so they are cheaper. We also buy baby carrots because they are a good size and very quick and easy as well. (This works for a good quick-grab snack when my hungry 11-week-old is waiting.) Today, I have had an apple, baby carrots, a combo of carrots and peas (the frozen kind) and an orange. I'll probably have some fresh blackberries that my husband bought for me as well, because they need to be eaten up. Some evenings, if I'm hungry before bed and I'm nursing my son, I'll have raisins while we sit. (I try to keep a small container filled with them so I have them easy.) Yesterday, I had an apple, baby carrots, banana, homemade vegetable soup, orange and raisins. Yes, I need more variety. When we go back to Trader Joe's and get more frozen strawberries and blueberries, I'll be able to mix it more.
