Does anyone else think Burger King veggie burgers are gross?!

Question: Does anyone else think Burger King veggie burgers are gross?
Everytime I have ordered one it has smelled strange and was dry. I was wondering if anyone else shares the same experience. I just feel like I can make them so much better myself.

Answers:

Yes anything that uses products from murdered or exploited animals is gross. Sick and disgusting. Yes it maybe called a veggie burger but last time I check a mother's milk (and the calve she produces that gets sent to the veal crate) and a chicken's egg is not veggies. Last time I had one as a vegetarian years ago it was terrible tasting and now that I know the whole truth about animals and animal exploitation it just makes it even more gross and nasty.

The only fast food that is decent is Chipotle. There you can get a filling burrito that is vegan (even some with Gardein chick'n that is 100% vegan as are all their products) and there is an attempt to locally source ingredients when they can which is also a plus considering they are big chain. Obviously one should attempt to avoid fast food when possible but at least chipotle is a better option than most anything else out there and is 1000000% better than a BK "veggie" burger

Personally if I want a burger I will make a variation of these bean and rice burgers:
http://imaginationjusticefront.files.wor… (found at the bottom or on page five if you print and fold) They aren't veggie burgers because the bulk is beans and rice but they are fully vegan and delicious.

vegan because animals are not property

I haven't had one since shortly after they introduced them many years ago, so I don't remember how it tasted exactly, but I know it wasn't great and I could absolutely make a better burger at home. They aren't vegan anymore, so I wouldn't go near them now anyway. The only fast food I eat is Subway or local diners or burger joints where they have *real* food. Oh, and a veganized Taco Bell seven layer burrito every now & then just b/c they're across the street from were I work. The best burgers are homemade of course, but I'll occasionally have some kind of packaged/processed one at a friends/relatives house b/c some keep things like that on hand for when I come over & they don't have much else for me to eat.

I'm sure most of the people who eat at Burger King are not vegetarian,
so, they probably don't even grill them often.

I think I had those once, although, that was more than a year ago.

If you're vegetarian, ideally, you shouldn't eat there- it's still supporting Burger King.

Yes, they don't taste very good. Also, they are not truly vegetarian as they contain cheese in the actual patty that has animal rennet in it!

I've never had a BK veggie burger, and I never will.

Vegetarian since birth

I honestly don't trust any food at fast food restaurants haha. It just all seems so gross :/

yes!!! they're horrible.

I'm just happy they have an option.

Yes. I'd sooner have a beef salad.

never had it.. and after reading that I don't think I will.

I honestly don't understand why you would even order such an item when you can have a regular whopper w/cheese. I would also bet the cooks in back probably do stuff to it cause they can't stand elitist lifestyles.

do you really think Burger King veggie burgers are made from veggies? lololol...

never tasted them before and i'm not planning to in the future
