Well if you eat a whole bunch of empty calories of course you'll gain weight. Yet if you start eating more fruits, vegetables, complex carbohydrates, "good fats", etc at moderation you can lose weight. When I went vegan at first I did start losing weight slowly and I'm still losing weight, I just don't know how much cause I don't weigh myself lol.
well you certainly wont gain it unless you eat loads of sugary food ,evryone knows that if you wanna lose exess fat to try vegan diet its also good for building muscle coz of all the protien in it ,but if you dont wanna lose wait just eat healthy within the vegan diet and dont skip stuff eat propley within the vegan diet .

Can't answer that. If you ate 5 lbs of beans, avocados and nuts every day, you'd get pretty chubby in a very short amount of time.
Being vegan has nothing to do with it. Excessive fat and calories are present in all kinds of food. Sounds like you need to do a bit of basic homework on vegan diets.
Most likely you will lose weight. But you can't expect to eat processed foods and junk all the time and lose any. A low-fat vegan diet will definitely help you shed some pounds and be very healthy.

Depends on your diet.
You can be healthy or unhealthy depending on what you eat. Eat vegan cup cakes all day you'll probably get fat.
