Is Lactaid bad for you? It seems to dry up and cake at the bottom of my cup?!

Question: Is Lactaid bad for you? It seems to dry up and cake at the bottom of my cup?
Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know if there are negatives to drinking Lactaid? I'm lactose intolerant and feel that Lactaid is one of the most milk-like non-dairy products out there. However, I noticed that the stuff seems to cake up in a gross way in my cup if I leave it out for a day or two. I'm guessing that the moisture dissipates and leaves the pure content of whatever's in Lactaid.

Although I don't think it would do this sort of things in my system, I'm just curious as to if drinking the stuff has any detrimental long term effects on my health. It tastes great, but what's left after it sits out for a day is gross to say the least (the chocolate version is even more horrid).

Not close to non-dairy. It is the same cruelty full milk just without something that doesn't change the cruelty. Dairy is not healthy for you, when you were born your mother fed you her milk and then when it was time to stop you moved on. The only milk you were meant to drink was from your mother. Other than that you weren't meant to drink milk in the traditional sense (as in it came from a mother).

Soy, rice, almond, oat, hazelnut, cashew, sunflower seed, hemp...milks are much better for you but more importantly are better for the animals. They taste great and can be really cheap and some are very low cal and high flavor. Plus many you can buy in shelf stable packs so you don't have to use them right away or can stock up. Plus they have plenty of vitamins and minerals and many different uses. Plus they can be used anywhere milk is called for. Obviously too they don't have any cholesterol because cholesterol only comes from animals and the humyn body makes plenty for you.

When you take milk from a cow or any other mother they are literally raped in order to get pregnant so they can produce milk. They are hooked up to machines that forcibly pump the milk out in a very painful manner that causes pain and swelling and a disease called Mastitis. When swelled the udders tend to hit the floor and pick up feces and other ground contaminants as well as produce pus (all of which can end up in your milk). The child of that mother if they are a male calve are sent too a veal crate or some form of veal farm and then slaughtered. If they are female calves they are used and abused in the same way their mothers were used and abused. There is no such thing as cruelty free milk that comes from somebody. If a living being's milk was taken and wasn't for her children it is always taken through exploitation no matter what and no matter how large or small the farm.
