I'm a vegan. Can I eat these chocolate graham crackers?!

Question: I'm a vegan. Can I eat these chocolate graham crackers?
I looked at the ingredients. Then at the bottom it said in bold that it was made on shared equipment that also processes eggs and milk. Can I still eat them?

Answers:

If you're vegan for religious reasons, then probably no.

If you're vegan for ethical, environmental, or health reasons, go right ahead.
Eggs/milk not included in crackers -> egg/dairy industries were not supported in the making of the crackers. If egg and milk weren't purchased to make the crackers, then the animals and environment weren't harmed.

That information is basically for people with severe allergies, because the company doesn't want to get sued.

vegan

Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals. Milk and eggs are in chocolate, and they both come from animals, so I'd say no, unless you're willing to go against your veganism.

I'm not even vegan....but I know about it :)
