It might seem like a frivolous question, but everything we do, especially the way we produce food, displaces wildlife. In many cases a well-managed pasture is better for the environment, wild animals, and biodiversity, than a crop field bathed in poisons and fertilizers.
I'm not a vegetarian .. in fact I'm a meat lover who will never consider the option whatsoever, but I'll answer this, because it's a ridiculous argument against vegetarianism.
Because the animals food, ie wheat, grains, vegetables, etc, are easily grown, through mass production, without any animal suffering in any way for it. Land or labor isn't an issue, and enough can be produced en masse to feed all the animals AND all the people.
Huge logical fallacy. Rethink your arguments before you present them in public again, and save yourself a little embarrassment.
Gotta be kidding me right?
I'm not actually going to answer this question as it would take far too long, but if oyu have time look up the amount of feed given to cattle to produce meat.
The amount of grass-land & water resources used to produce meat.
The varied diets of herbivore animals which ranges from insects to grass
Then come back with the same arguement if you feel the same
vegetarian.
I've heard some good arguements in dialogue against vegetarianism, but this is a weak one
Are you talking about the animals that people really love to see in zoos like panda bears, dolphins, lions and elephants?
We don't eat bamboo, fishes, gazelles, or trees.
Or were you meaning domestic animals, like cows, chickens, dogs and cats?
We don't eat grass, bugs, or meat.
So... what were you trying to say?

Interesting question! Haha. But I'm assuming that the animals would much rather people eat their food, which they can still find in other places, than to eat them. Just like I'm pretty sure that humans would want an alien to eat our pizza and fries than to eat us, yeah? But again, a creative and interesting question!
Me :)
I eat food grown for human consumption, not for animal consumption. Interestingly enough, animals like cattle should naturally eat grass yet we feed them most of the corn and soybean supply in the U.S.
Looks like the animals are eating my food so that you can eat the animals.
ha ha. i understand what you're saying, but technically it's not their food. when you plant a garden, you don't grow the food for them. you grow it for you. the farmers that grow the produce grow it for us, for profit. there's enough wild food for us all.
~and~
the alternative would really suck for the animals.
:)
I completely agree with dna habitue..
btw, pick a better argument than this. This is plain silly.. I have heard this question so many times it is not funny anymore.. wait >__> it was never funny to begin with.
I seriously hope that you don't think you're being original with this question, lol.
hahaa...i'm nt a vegetarian so i dnt know why the vegetarians eat their food even they love animals.
i've never eatten by dog's dog food nor my cat's cat food. what the ****?
Better than eating them
