Is skimmed milk a good source of protein for muscle building?!


Question: Is skimmed milk a good source of protein for muscle building?
I have been working out for roughly 6 month, I have seen some improvement in myself, I just need to get enough protein into my diet, with my work shedule its kinda hard, so I have been taking protein drinks to work, instead of the high priced supements an protein powders, would skim milk powder be a good source of protein? Thanks ;)

Milk and the easier to travel powered milk are a fare source of protein. And if you choose powdered milk you could add it to other things (provided it will taste good) that contain protein. You could also mix it up thicker than the package recommends, for an extra boost of protein.
If you are concerned about not achieving the gains you desire in the gym, remember it takes time; the most important protein of the day is right after a workout and before bed. Both feed those muscles you worked so hard to accomplish.
If you feel you have hit a plateau in your gains, you should consider changing up your exercise routine and cutting back on the cardio.
