Your body needs some protien. Go eat a juicy steak hahahaha
hey I have been vegan for over three years. I went on the pill for a few months last year and was always bloated. also, you could be eating too much wheat products. have you been tested for a gluten intolerance or allergy? it could be that. when i first became vegan I ate a lot of bread because I was a freshman in college and bread was always a sure thing. also, a lot of fake meat comes from vital wheat gluten.
are you drinking a lot of soda or beer? that also can make you bloated. and if you are consuming a lot of beans your body may not be used to all the fiber and it could be messing up your stomach.
another thing, if you eat a lot of fake meat products containing soy, you could have an allergy to that.
i would get tested for food allergies if i felt perpetually bloated, or I would just figure my menstrual cycle was off for some reason.
being a woman and having over three years vegan experience.
I used to get bloated when I was constipated. Have you had a change in the frequency of your bowel movements? I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I believe "vegan" excludes all meat and dairy products, right? If you think constipation could be the problem, then perhaps you're not eating enough fruit or the right kind of veggies. For instance, potatoes are okay for a vegan, I assume, but I don't think they'll help your digestive system. I've found that eating fruit in the morning with breakfast helps. If not constipation, menstrual? Are your periods late? A major change in your diet could possibly affect your hormones. If neither of those conditions apply to you, I think you should see a doctor. There are illnesses having nothing to do with vegan that could cause bloating and you shouldn't take chances.
Drink more water and consume less sodium. Sodium builds up around your midsection if you're consuming too much and not drinking enough water to make up for it. If you are eating high sodium meals, balance it out by drinking lots of water. If not, than make your own foods instead of buying pre-made foods. Soups and vegetarian broths tend to contain a lot of sodium, so find recipes on making your own broths and soups. Use sea salt, since it's sodium content is lower than usual table salt.
You could just be bloated because your period. If not that, you might not be digesting properly, which will cause you to bloat.
my take on your problem is to see a doctor and take with you a list of the foods you have ate during the last two months.good luck.
