What are the chances that there is milk or eggs in this?!

Question: What are the chances that there is milk or eggs in this?
I have some wheat bread that does not contain dairy in the ingredients however it says that the bread was made in a facility that uses eggs and milk.

What are the chances of egg or milk being in the bread? Would you eat it?

Chances are very slim. The safety checks and line clearances performed before production, not to mention the QC performed after a production lot makes the likelihood of cross-contamination very rare. The disclaimer is just a legal CYA measure. I would eat it for sure -Yet I like to eat cows, pigs and chickens too.

I'm a vegetarian as well, but I personally think (may be biased) that even when a package says "Made in a factory that uses eggs/milk/nuts", I still consider the food safe to eat. I mean, the milk can't really mysteriously float into the air and onto the other machines in a sterilized factory.

If it is says "Made in the same facility," chances are very slim. If it says "Processed on the same equipment," chances are much greater.

See, this is what happens when lawyers are allowed to run rampant. The likelihood of even microscopic amounts of milk or egg being present is also microscopic.

if you are a very strict vegan like myself you probably shouldn't eat based on the very small off chance that there is but if you are more lenient then your probably safe to go ahead.

I would eat it,this is a disclaimer so that people with severe allergy can make an informed choice.

a very low chance i would eat it they just have to cover heir asses incase something ever does happen.
