I don't know about lacto-ovo, ovo, and lacto vegetarians, but as a vegan, I can say my hair thickened up about a month after becoming a vegan.
It may have been other things, too like the summer weather (nourishing Sun), but the veganism seems more likely.
Well, yeah, your appearance reflects your health. It's the same with all animals. So if you're healthy, then yes, you'd look good! However, on the thing about hair, it may depend on your genetics and how you take care of it more. Some hair is just prone to split ends, dryness, and friziness. Though, for the rest of your body, of course being healthy shows! And who cares if your hair is a little less than perfect when the rest of you shines with natural beauty?
EDIT: Ppl, she's asking about VEGETARIANS, not vegans. They still consume dairy products.
Yes they do. You are now more intelligent, can see better, have better skin, your poo doesn't stink, have better hair, softer skin, you are stronger, live longer, and are just an all around better person than meat eaters. And if you keep it up you will soon sprout wings, become telepathic, and you will be able to communicate with dolphins and whales.
well, yeh, the vitamins in vegetables are good for your hair, but people who arn't vegetarians eat vegetables too, its not like meat eaters only eat meat! so as long as a person eats healthily, with or without meat, it should equal nice hair.
Have not eaten meat since i was 10 years old and i have to say my hair is in great condition - The same goes for other Vegetarians i know too - Obviously its not a scientific fact however from my own personal experience i would say yes!
There's only one way to find out. Go veg! :)
(heck yeah, vegetarians have awesome hair! but it really can't be linked to one thing; it depends on how you normally take care of it, too)
The secret to improve your appearance is eating healthy.....
I'm a vegetarian and I have long wavy brown hair with blond high lights. We're less likly to get achne do it would make sence we'd have better hair.
I heard they do. But I don't know for sure. I would think a healthier diet would lead to healthier hair.
Yes.
Yes.
Aren't you jealous? Go veg (:
"Better" is an interesting word. Better than what? If you read this page for a few days, you'll see someone complaining about their hair falling out after going veg*n. So, no, veg*ns don't necessarily have any hair, much less "better" hair.
Not healthier then non- vegs.
Example: Most hair models aren't veg.
