Why does Gordon Ramsay have a problem with vegetarians?!

Question: Why does Gordon Ramsay have a problem with vegetarians?
My parents are vegetarians. I'm not. Lots of my friends at university were vegetarians. I never thought for one minute that their way of living was wrong. Actually there are days of the week when I crave vegetables cooked chinese style. So what's up Gordo's @$$?

Answers:

It's because he has low self esteem, and he takes his pain out on others. The fact that people will refuse to eat certain things on ethical grounds gets under his skin because it highlights how he and others like him lack the same ethical standards. So what happens is they feel inadequate, and even though we are just minding our own business they feel the need to attack vegetarians. You see people like that here every day, projecting their own self hatred onto us.

Anyway if he accepted that vegetarians have a point, it would mean that he uses products of cruelty unnecessarily. The vast majority of chefs are able to resolve this quite easily, but his fragile ego prevents him from doing so; so instead he condemns the choices of those different to him. He needs therapy and lots of it.

Im a Vegan, yet im a big fan of Gordon Ramsay's shows and have watched almost every episode of every show he has put out... If you'd like a real answer to this question, unlike the ones you've received so far it would go something like this: He used to believe that veggie food was bland and boring. As a chef you could see how this would be an issue for him. However wrong he was to believe it. In more than one instance that has been on TV he's had the opportunity to try vegetarian and vegan food and commented on how good it was.
Keep in mind that people who eat animals are often uncomfortable with vegetarians and vegans. they point out the unnecessary nature of killing and eating animals for no other reason than because people happen to enjoy how they taste.

I dont know, i think its common for gourmae (cant spell?) chefs to be down and out on vegetarians, because those ppl love food and they cook with meats all the time and being vegetarian is just a strange concept to them. Meat is a big part of their lives.

Gordon Ramsay has a problem with anyone who isn't Gordon Ramsay.

Don't take it personally, it's supposed to be entertainment.

cos his scripted character is supposed to

these people ar epaid to say whatever they are told

The better question is why do you care what a pompous celebrity thinks?
