can eat: any fruit, vegetable, or nut/legume, bread products
cannot eat: meat, seafood, dairy (milk, eggs, all types of cheese, butter, yogurt)

there are vegan fake meats you can eat if you have a meat craving. They're soy-based. Try Morning Star Farms brand. Good vegan burgers, vegan chik'n patties, etc....

for milk and yogurt try coconut, rice, or soy-based. a lot of diff flavors.
for cheese there i use Veggie Slices (soy-based)

Good luck!!

I would recommend buying Alicia Silverstones book the Kind Life, she also has a blog called the kind life. It seriously has changed my life. Also Skinny B*tch is another great book. For me it took some time to really become vegan and kinda relearn how to cook and what to eat. It's so fun eating all these new foods. You must read labels everywhere you go and it's very hard to eat out. HOw I kinda got started was I would think of something I cooked a lot for my family and google it but with the word Vegan, like Vegan meat loaf. I made a recipe box off all kinds of new stuff and a list of things to always have on hand. Get basic stuff like fruits, veggies, beans, brown rice, vegan cheeses, vegan mayo, boca burgers, light house fakin bacon, vegan sausages, tofu, almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, veggie stock, wheat flour, nutritional yeast, seitan. i could go on forever. Just have fun with it.

nothing from animals or anything that has animal products in it. So that means you cant use goose feathers to coat your rull rack of lamb with bbq sauce. You definatley cant wash your ham salad with egg yolk and dont even think about using chicken skin to wrap your breakfast bacon.

foods you can eat:
veggies, fruit, nuts, etc

foods you can't eat:
cheese, dairy, eggs, and anything that has those or meat products in it
