Is it safe to eat this?!

Question: Is it safe to eat this?
So it's from whole foods, my moms boyfriend got it and I was wondering if it's safe to eat for vegans
Okay so here are the ingredients

cornsyrup, sugar, cornstarch-modified(non GMO), malic acid, natural flavor, sodium citrate, coloree with vegetable extract(radish)
I'm like to my mom I can't eat this because it doesn't say where the natrual flavor is dervived from an animal or plant, and she got mad at me because she's like oh, this isn't even helping any animals you're just obsessed and blah blah blah. I just don't know of this is vegan or not, cause it would usually say natural flavor(vegetable source) but it didn't

Answers:

If it's supposed to taste like something very very sweet its very possible.
But i looked at the other ingredients and looked it up on the internet and it's 98% most likely vegan.
I hope it helps!

if you have a doubt about it, don't eat it

im vegetarian/aspiring to be vegan and look at the labels all the time

eat it... about 95 percent of natural flavoring is vegan so im not too worried for you

If you can't tell the difference, what difference does it make?

Wll what is it?..

yeah, is not like is going to explode or something so i guess is pretty safe

It has cornstarch in it, which is made from corn. Unless the farmer put so much insecticide on the corn that it would poison you to eat it, when the corn was harvested, so were lots of insects, and they ended up in the cornstarch.....

There is actually no such thing as a "real vegan", it is not possible unless you eat only synthetic foods made in a lab...

Here's the FDA guide on how many bug parts you can have in various foods and they still count as "contaminant-free".....(the levels are FAR higher for "organic" foods!)

Just eat ethical foods instead, it's not such a sham!

Yes, it's safe to eat it. It's not going to kill you.

Oh, and none of the ingredients look non-vegan either.
