Question regarding an ingredient in vegan baking recipe?!

Question: Question regarding an ingredient in vegan baking recipe?
A vegan fudge recipe calls for dairy-free margarine, is this the same as earth balance's vegan (flax) butter? if no, can you give me an example of a well known dairy-free margarine that i can most likely find near me? Thank you for the help!

Yes, dairy-free margarine can be substituted with vegan "butter", because they are basically the same thing. For the best fudge, use whatever vegan shortening you find the most tasty!

Vegan

So sorry, I'm not vegan. But, I do think that you could use almond butter to replace it? I think that is what my friend uses, and it gives it a much thicker, richer taste. I enjoy it. But I'm not sure if you two have the same recipe...
Sorry, cuz I really don't know if I'm right. Hope this helped anyway!

My friends is vegan, so. . . yeah.

Earth Balance has an original(soy) butter, and a soy free butter, and yes, this would work.

Yes, I think Earth Balance makes vegan margarine.
