Vegans~What not to eat?!

Question: Vegans~What not to eat?
I'm going to try and be a vegan for 5 days~I was wondering what are the things you CAN'T eat?(Milk, eggs, e.t.c)

Is it bad to do this?
Will changing from eating meat to a vegan be unhealthy?

5 days isn't long enough to be sure if a diet (whether vegan or not) is healthy. You need to give it a chance.

Here's a list of things to avoid for you:

BTW vegan means more than just the diet.

Being a vegan can be unhealthy so try and find some sites online to help you eat healthy while becoming a vegan. But you may find that being a vegan is a better choice for you. This isn't the best choice for everyone though. Sometimes people can only eat in a more vegan way and that's okay. Just know what you're eating and make sure you're eating healthy and know that you don't need animal products to have a very nice and filling meal.

Vegans don't eat anything from an animal.
No:
Dairy
Eggs
Meat
Poultry
Fish
Oils from fish or any meat/dairy/eggs
Gelatin(made by boiling bones)
Refined Sugar(processed with bone char)
Honey

Yes:
everything else!

Daiya cheese is a great cheese substitute.
Earth Balance is a great butter substitute.
Tofurky frozen pizzas are amazing.
Amy's vegan products are delish.
Gardein has great vegan meat substitutes.
Protien is found in grains and there is plenty in beans and legumes.

You'll find that this will open your eyes to things that you probably pass by every time you go to the market.

Look on vegan blogs and websites for other suggestions.

I have been a vegan for about a year and before that was in love with meat and cheese. I know when something tastes vegan and when something tastes like what I used to eat.

There are some people who will not be able to maintain their health as vegans. There's even a chance that it is entirely impossible, as there are a couple of amino acids unavailable outside animal sources. One vegan who tried to be true, and it didn't work:

And a fair argument that it might be wholly impossible:

You're not allowed to eat the following things:

Voles
Tapeworms
Millipedes
Jellyfish
Bats
Plankton.

It's okay though, there are soya-based substitutes for most of these x o x

Let me google that for you...
