I actually gained weight. Too much great vegan food. Try going to Vegan Treats in PA they will help you gain some weight.

I would probably just eat more of what you like and figure out new ways to use the things you don't like.

Vegan because animals are not property

I lost a bit of weight but not much and I feel like it's my perfect weight!! As long as you are eating enough calories then you shouldn't keep losing weight. I'm 110 and 5 foot so you must be really skinny. You can also up your carbs. I don't eat much nuts myself. They make Vegan butter called Earth Balance. Are you taking vitamins? Grains are so good for you!! You really should try to eat them more. Beans are amazing for a women's body!! It has everything we need plus high in protein. I think with eating Vegan you just need to relearn how to cook and eat and it takes some time. Also if you feel that you are looking unhealthy I would recommend getting a physical and telling them you are Vegan. They can test to see if you are lacking anything!! This was you can eat more of whatever it is. Also Vegan & Vegetarians sometimes have low iron so make sure you take your vitamins.

I wish I had this problem lol! I was overweight when I went vegan and lost a bit over the first month. But then I discovered vegan chocolate, and that was the end of my weight loss!

It is normal to go through a period of metabolic adjustment with any significant change in diet. But how long have you been vegan? Has the weight loss been constant since you became vegan? What exactly are you eating? Are you having any other symptoms of illness? There is always a chance that weight loss is not diet related, so eliminate all the possibilities.

Soy protein powders will hep you build muscle, and I think creatine is another supplement which vegans can use. You could try and eat some starchy vegies like potatoes as well.

Increase your calorie intake but don't increase how much you exercise (if you exercise). Since you don't like most of the foods that are high in protein, I would suggest beans and avocados.

vegan :D

No nut butters, nuts, breads grains or fake meat? What do you eat?
