Why can't we allow animals to pass naturally to use their fur or skin for clothes?!

Question: Why can't we allow animals to pass naturally to use their fur or skin for clothes?
I know the answer is to not use them at all... but just curious, what is the logic behind not raising them well and treating them well and when they pass use them for their fur if we must use it for fashion. I'm sure its economical reasons, but I just don't understand why more people don't fight for that.

Are there any brands of clothes that allow that? Or treat animals ethically.

Really now, the 'passing' of leather is obvious. A bonk on the head, turn into meat and skin sold as leather, it probably sound 'cruel', but we wouldn't have so much leather if people didn't eat beef.
Unless you follow an animal around it's whole life and are there the moment it drops dead, you won't get 'natural' leather.
Any living thing starts decomposing within hours after it's death. That what field dressing is for when hunting and animal. You want to rid the animal of the guts and get is hung up and rid of blood as quickly as possible to have edible meat.
It is illegal to mistreat animals especially food producing animals.

Because, to be honest, an animal's skin/fur is not going to be as lustrouse or strong at the end of it's life, as it will be when the animal is still young. Only relatively happy/healthy animals produce good pelts, and dying of old age does not produce a good pelt. As for skins, you notice how human skin thins as they age? The same thing happens for the animals.

Also, this would take up a tremendous amount of resources. There is nothing wrong with raising the animals healthy and slaughtering young, as long as it is done humanely.

@Mrs Lovett --- take one look at my feaux fur coat collar and you will see why people don't use fake fur... because it doesn't look the same. After only a few years of use, the collar is ratty, crinkled, and balding.

As for leather, nothing is the same as leather. It is ideal for shoes. Vynl does not breath like leather does, and other hi-tek alternatives don't last as long, or require many resources/materials and their production increases polution. I always go leather for my shoes. Always.

Baby animals, usually baby seals, lions, tigers, leopards, polar bears, and chinchillas have soft, delicate fur. Their skin is also very thin and not rough like adult or dead animals. Adult animals have more rough fur and isn't nice and soft like baby animal fur. Sadly, the people that bash their heads in with clubs don't care about the animals, it's just they do it for the money. It's better to just use fake fur or not wear it at all.

Part of why some people dont support the raising of animals for food and other purposes is the sheer amount of resources it requires to do so.
So raising an animal and allowing it to live a full life would substantially increase that.

Personally, I am not opposed to hunting an animal and using all viable parts in anyway they can be. I am not a fan of hormone injected mass produced animals.

humans are selfish and taking over the world!!! they dont care if animals suffer since they cant really fight back!! and they want more and more out of nature every day therefore they kill the animals to have something they really dont need since their is many alternatives to leather and fur clothing, and they lust over their meat so they see it as a win they get both something to put on and something to put into their bellies

Animals used for fur have to be taken at the right time of year while they are in excellent health for the fur to be of good quality. Sad but true.

Yeah, just look in the "Ratty, balding, old and diseased" section of the fur shop.

People are impatient and selfish.
Also hair kind of differs at different age stages.

What I don't get is why people can't just use fake fur and leather. It looks the same and no animals have to die for it

We humans are *** holes to anything else, we are savage beings in a world of gentle creatures

The demand for animal skin is too great

far too much demand
