Has anyone here watched earthlings?!

Question: Has anyone here watched earthlings?
How incredibly life-changing. Especially the part where the fox was skinned while still alive. I'm already vegatarian and I weeped for a full hour. I feel so moved...

So my question is, what made you decide to become a vegan/vegatarian?
And if you're neither, why are you here?

Ugh, yeah I remember the fox. :'(
It was awful.

Earthlings opened my eyes to a lot of things, and after I watched it more things made sense to me, but it didn't cause me to be vegan. It definitely helped, but there were other factors like health, environment, and politics. Mostly the main reason that I don't eat meat is because I don't want animals to die for my dinner - the animal cruelty is also a reason, but not as big since if there were no cruelty, I still wouldn't eat meat. If that makes sense.

Vegan

I watched earthlings on YouTube. I had been a vegetarian allready too but I just couldn't stand watching the elephant being beaten by the trainer or the factory farm sceens. It was awfull. I do love that film. You should see food.Inc too that's also a really great doccumentary. It's not really pro vegetarian but it does adress the issues of factory farming.

Yes, I've watched "Earthlings". Also "Meet Your Meat" and "Food, Inc". Didn't change my life at all.

I am neither a vegan nor a vegetarian, I am an omnivore.

I am "here" to ask and answer questions about veganism/vegetarianism, just like (almost) everyone else "here".

Why do pigeons tolerate hawks? They eat differently, obviously. In nature, both have a part they play in making life better for the other species. No hawks, too many pigeons. No pigeons, fewer hawks.

If you were hungry enough...and thank heaven you may never be so hungry...you would eat anything that maintained life. Before becoming too judgemental of others , try to remember this idea.

Besides, you ask interesting questions and may influence some omnivores to consider changing their errant ways. Cheer up!

Yes, I have seen it.
I went vegan (after 5 years of being just lacto-ovo) mainly because of ethics but also for land and water conservation, my health and third world poverty rates.
And by the way...I know some people like to cause trouble (ie. trolls) but anybody can come to this section :) I don't own a cat, but that doesn't mean I can't visit that section.

Vegan.

i try to be a veg and it last for 2 days bt after i watch that documentary, my god i keep imagining it when i eat meat! It surely will me back to try to be veg again! Wish me luck! Btw, i have a serious food allergy, thats why i try to be veg..

I'm here to dispel mis-truths about the health of having an omnivorous diet and the slaughtering methods of family farmers. I'm always respectful but share facts when I see the need to.

I've never watched Earthlings.

no, nothing has made me decide to go veg

yes
