Answers:

you may not be getting enough iron or protein...one or the other, protein comes in about everything you eat but some bodies need more than others, you should try tofu, beans, quinoa, etc. also it depends what kind of vegetarian you are, if you are ovo-lacto like me you should eat more eggs and cheese, however if your a vegan then you really should be getting more protein substitutes. good luck! your doing a great thing! : D

Normal? Proabably.

You can't expect to replace the meat in your diet with salad and stay healthy. Meat is a nutrient rich food; green salad isn't.

If it's only been two days, you're probably not getting enough calories. You need about 1500 calories to live. Most adults do well on a 2000 calorie a day diet; it you're an active growing youngster you probably need up to 2500. Start a food diary and track how many calories you're getting a day. If it's less than 2,000, you need to eat more.

As you go along on your vegetarian diet, you could become deficient in iron because the non-heme iron in veggies is not absorbed by your body as well as the heme iron in meat. In spite of what uninformed veggies will tell you, protein can be a serious problem for vegetarians. Protein is made up of amino acids. Meat contains all those amino acids needed for complete protein. Most veggies only contain some or weak versions. You'll need to eat a variety of veggies every day and your body can combine them to make the complete protein it can use. One important amino acid is pretty much only found in legumes (beans). Because your body doesn't store protein, you need to eat some legumes every day. Then there is B12. It's not available in any plant foods; omega 3s are hard to get. Calcium rich veggies often also contain oxalate which inhibits your body's ability to absorb calcium.

But right now, I'll bet your problem is just that you're not eating enough calories.

You are probably missing more than one thing. Mainly B12 (almost entirely found in meat products) the only things that I have found that have B12 that aren't meat (including shellfish which is the best source) is Eggo waffles, fortified cereals, eggs (if you aren't vegan) and I think leafy greens.

Iron is another thing you will have to supplement when you stop eating meat. Also found in dark leafy greens, apricots, pistachios, and you can get supplements at the store.

Protein, the obvious one. Whole grains, beans, and cheese have protein. Also that greek yogurt (I like chobani) has a good amount of protein in it.

Hope that helps.

No it is not normal. You have to research proper nutrition. Make sure you're getting all the proper nutrients and enough calories.
Btw, by consuming dairy (an industry that can easily be argued as worse than the meat industry), you are still supporting slaughter. Eating eggs supports slaughter as well.

vegan :D

chances are you aren't getting enough iron (since you're not getting it from meat anymore). i'm no kind of doctor, so i would get medical advice first, but my guess is that you might need to start taking iron pills

i have a vegetarian friend with the same problem
