Question About Thomas' Bagels?!

Question: Question About Thomas' Bagels?
Hi all, this will be kind of wordy, and possibly very dumb.

I see a lot of references to Thomas' New York Style Bagels being vegan. The thing is, I don't see "New York Style" anywhere on the actual products (including the package I've got, and the Thomas' website at http://thomas.bimbobakeriesusa.com/Our-Products/. Is there an actual difference?

What makes it more confusing is that the ingredients on the bagels I have (Thomas' Everything Bagels), as well as their website, list sugar (plus mono- and diglycerides), but online sellers that refer specifically to "New York Style" bagels (like http://fresh.amazon.com/product?asin=B000R4HR9G&searchId=41686349) don't list the sugar (but do list the glycerides), even though it looks like the exact same package.

So is there actually a difference between these products? Thanks in advance for any clarification. I have this package of bagels on the counter and I'd really like to know if they're okay to eat. :-)

Answers:

I think these bagels are found in the refrigerated sections of grocery stores (by the cream cheese). My boyfriend brought me the thinner Thomas Everything bagels (because I wanted some too), and I don't think they're vegan. I ate them anyway, simply because he had already bought them and no one else would eat them.
