I have always hated them!
I'm in love with fruit.

To people who were meat eaters, how did u do it to eat veggies?
Where can I get my protein from?

I've recently started a vegetarian diet. It's just something I've wanted to do because I love animals, and I've heard about, and seen other people who became vegetarian and/or vegan and they lost a lot of weight. Which is something I've wanted to do too. Not because I'm fat, but I have a few extra pounds that I don't like.
It was kind of hard at first, because like you, I wasn't a big fan of vegetables. But I've actually learned to love them. You just have to set a goal, and be determined to achieve it. You have to really want to do it.
With my parents and little sister still eating meat, it's been kind of hard. Even though I rarely ate meat before, it's the fact that I've told myself I can't that makes me want it. It's gotten easier though. Especially with seeing the deer that my uncles kill, which makes me feel sick. I think it's cruel. I've just been telling myself that I can do it. It's something that I really want.
My parents don't really like the idea of me being vegetarian. They're not sure if I'm getting the kind of nutrients and proteins that I need, which is why my mom is going to be taking me to see a nutritionist. They'll be able to tell me what I should eat in order to get all of the nutrients and proteins and stuff that I need. So I'd recommend seeing one for that.
I hope this helps, and good luck! ^-^

"Morning Star" is a great brand that makes meat flavored food that tastes really good made from portobello mushrooms or something. at first i thought they would be bad but they are better than the really thing my dad tried some of the chicken nuggets and wouldn't stop eating them off my plate. the brand has different varieties too. Chicken patties and nuggets hamburgers, bacon, ham, etc. and they're not meat at all! or you could eat lots of carrots because i Love them or mix veggies into fried rice for great flavor!
if you are on campus you have access to a library...get some books and educate yourself. This is not something you just do on a whim with no real plan...doesn't have to be rocket science...just know some basics...also do a search online for vegetarian recipes or recipe sites etc. Also many ethnic foods have lots of meatless options...Indian, Greek, Chinese etc...
Vegetarian for 20 yrs
If you really hate vegetables, you can try fruititarianism. It's similar to vegetarianism.

Stop being so picky.
Eat vegetables, drink milk, eat eggs.
Problem solved.
