Disgusting, barbaric, and outdated. With all the alternatives it is just "amazing" that some people still try to justify it.

I think it is outdated, unnecessary, irresponsible, gives misguided results, and, yes, that it is unethical.

Voluntary human testing subjects for medications, cultured human tissue for abrasion testing, etc. would give far more accurate results, as well as eliminate the ethical issue with testing upon animals.

It is wrong. And there are alternatives to it. I'm not a vegetarian but I try to buy products that are not tested on animals. Sometimes they cost more, but i do it anyways. I know you vegetarians will call me a hypocrite for doing this and eating meat, but that is how I am. After watching pictures and reading about how products are tested on animals it completely disgusted and sickened me.

They all fail anyway - so why do they keep testing them?

Alright! Would you rather the test were carried out on you? Somehow I doubt it. You can think it's wrong if you want but until you come up with a viable alternative it's going to continue.

yes its wrong but there's no other way to know if its safe for humans. but then again i have no use for any of the items they test on animals. i eat only organic food and i don't take any type of drugs or wear make up.

It's very cruel to put your satisfaction before a nother creatures life. There are other ways to test if products are dangerous for people than by putting animals in pain. It's abdolutly discusting.

Think it's wrong all you like, but it's the law.
They tried testing on humans... it was called the Tuskeegee experiment.
That's why animal testing is the law.

If you think its wrong you should never go to the doctor or hospital again. Virtually every major medical breakthrough is because of animal testing.

No rights should be traded off for the sake of others, unless it is willfully allowed.

Animal testing is unethical.

I think they should recruit inmates of the prison system to do tested (willingly, of course)

Perhaps they can get some money put on their books or something else along those lines for participating.

Is wrong, animals have feelings too

I think it's CRUELTY...........painful/deadly fact!
