Nutritional yeast flakes. It is good just sprinkled on food. I especially like to sprinkle it on my beans.

Most people have an adequate supply of B12 made by bacteria that live in their intestines.

If you eat dairy products or eggs, they both contain B12.

But most people will always have enough B12 whether they get it from food or not.

However, some people are deficient due to a metabolic disorder known as Pernicious Anemia.

Fortified soy milk, rice milk, hemp milk, almond milk. Fortified cereals. Marmite. Nutritional yeast. Seaweed and sea vegetables. And some research is showing that fruits contain small amounts. Organic fruits that are not sterilized and sprayed with pesticides have small amounts of B12. We have enough B12 in our bodies to last years, and we honestly only need tiny amounts each day.

A number of soy milks are fortified with B12, as is Red Star Nutritional Yeast.

If you're not averse to chewing gum or eating mints, B-Fresh has B12 gum and mints. I've seen them at my local Vitamin Shoppe, and some of the gum at Whole Foods, but Vegan Essentials (www.veganessentials.com) has the best selection.
