Here is the list of ingredients from the Starbucks store:

Ingredients: An infusion of (water, black tea, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, natural flavors ad star anise). Cane Sugar, Honey, Ginger Juice, Natural Flavors, Vanilla and citric acid

As you can see "Honey" is used which is NOT Vegan.

I would agree, based on previous experience as Macrobiotic/Vegan, that your best choice is to either make your food at home or buy it from specialized Vegan restaurants/coffee shops.

As a Co-Founder for Yogic Chai ( http://www.yogicchai.com ) I can tell you that it is quite difficult to find Authentic blends of Masala Chai containing ONLY tea & spices. I have seen companies using tea flavors instead of tea!

Your best bet is to either make yours from scratch or use blends like the ones we sell, which is the closest to making your own...the only difference is we blend the spices and the tea for you and pack it in different sizes for your convenience.

No, it contains honey.

Tazo Chai Tea has milk in it BEFORE they ever put anything in it at Starbucks.
I used to buy it at Sprouts.

IMO, you shouldnt trust anyone else to make your food if your vegan.
