Exercise and low fat food!

In my hardcore dieting and exercise days, my meals always consisted of a protein, a starch, and a fibrous vegetable. In my vegan days (where I lost ten pounds in a month), it was fruit for breakfast (sometimes with whole grain cereal), a highly loaded vegetable salad for lunch, and pasta or veggie burgers or a hearty soup for dinner. I never counted calories when I was vegan but when I was omnivorous, I never exceeded 1500 calories. I used SparkPeople (Google them) to track my foods and follow a diet plan. If you are a teenager, Google SparkTeens.

The best organized "program" for eating the way you want is probably Weight Watchers (they also have a "point system" to make it easier to keep up with calories and good foods vs. bad ones, but you wouldn't have to use those).

You'll also find healthy diets through the American Heart Association or websites like cookinglight.com.

When you eat a healthy balanced diet, you'll find that you just don't have as much desire or room for a lot of sweets/etc, because there are other things you'll *need* to eat.

Even on healthy diets like those, you can still eat sweets and chocolate though... it's just that you can't eat loads of them. "Portion control" is one of the most important concepts when trying to eat healthy, keep weight down, etc, but one not well understood by most people.
For example, if I want a bit of sweet stuff or chocolate (though I usually eat "dark" chocolate which is lower fat/sugar and "healthier" than milk chocolate), I eat it; but I will have a small or moderate portion and avoid things like that later in the day.

It also helps to start eating more "high flavor" foods, many of which may be naturally sweet, or be foods that become somewhat "sweet" when browned/sauteed/roasted/caramelized.

well what u need to do is one day eat a pound of Chocolate u will then becume gastly ill then u will throw up and u will never look at sweets agen then to spice up the salad add some things to it peperroni steak some kind of dressing then as u like the taste more and more u will need to limite the amount of things u put on it and replace with more veggies

i would not try the cholite part unless u relly whant to be ill but ur sweet tooth will be gone :)

Eat very little sweets and chocolate, and eat a lot of fruits, veggies, legumes. etc. Look at govegan.com

And get plenty of exercise, and plenty of sleep.
