Is the sushi at sushi sushi vegan?!

Question: Is the sushi at sushi sushi vegan?
Obviously the chicken, beef and fish ones aren't. But you know how they have vegetable rolls and cucumber rolls, they don't contain mayo do they? and the tofu in the vegetable roll, it's not cooked in egg or anything is it?

Most tofu won't be cooked in egg, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that, but I would be concerned about the sauces containing mayo or cream. If you request that there are no dairy ingredients in your rolls, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to accommodate, and make sure to include mayo in that request.

im sure theyll have a basic vegetable roll (with no nonvegan extras). sushi always HAS to be made fresh, so even if they DO usually put pay on the veggie roll (which i doubt) you could always ask them not to when you order. dont be afraid of calling/emailing the restaurant in advance :-)

you'll have to check with your waitress or chef on that one, or you could always request for maki-monos and handrolls without eggs or mayo in them. I'm sure they wouldn't mind preparing a fresh one for you.

I work at a sushi-ya.

I didn't know they made chicken sushi. Consuming raw chicken is DANGEROUS! We have no way of knowing, so ask the people there.
