They only way to make sure peanut-butter is Vegan, is to make it from scratch.
Commercial peanut-butter has a lot of additives and Jiff more than most.



Yes, regular Jif peanut butter and the reduced-fat kind is, also. I prefer their natural peanut butter because it's a bit lower in sugar, but either way, two tablespoons of peanut butter is a good way to get some much-needed protein into your vegan diet. Watch out for peanut butter that is honey-roasted; many vegans do not eat honey or consider it a vegan product, but to each his own regarding that.



Look at the ingredients. If you don't see any meat or dairy in it, it is vegan. Generally peanut butter is from plants, so it is vegan.
