it means you have alot of Leptin (appetite urging hormone)!! you should turn to other things, eat veggies instead of unhealthy ones, and if this continues consult your doctor. that's it! :)
It sounds like emotional eating. Are you bored? Lonely? Sad? In our culture, we often show love through feeding one another. You do well on a test, mom makes you your favorite dinner. Visit grandma, she has baked cookies. Your partner is trying to show s/he appreciates you, you get breakfast in bed. You could be turning to food when you really want an affirmation that you are loved. Food also will never reject you, and let's face it... good food makes us feel good. If you are feeling sad or lonely, try reaching out instead. Call or email a friend. Send a handwritten letter to your mom or an elderly relative. Borrow a neighbor's dog and go for a walk.
If you are bored, try reading a book or playing a computer game. Plan menus for the week. Redecorate your room. Give yourself a facial or pedicure (bonus: this also gives you a boost!). Try doing some exercise, too. If you want to eat but your belly doesn't feel empty, do a sun salutation or two, or walk around the block once or twice. You can also sip water.
If you are feeling really down or are going through a stressful time, go talk to a counselor. S/he might have some ideas about how to handle the stress without giving yourself love handles.

Sounds like your making your food as your as a substitute for emotional comfort.
Sometimes it could due to health issue most notably Hypoglycemia, Hypothyroidism and other side effect of medications. If you haven't been diagnosed with any of the above then it mostly just in your head.

I realised that its because I get bored really easy... its a horrible habit but I can't help it! :P find a lot of things to do and while you're busy you'll forget about eating!
If all else fails.. buy a bag of sunflower seeds and you can nibble the entire day and gain less weight than you would with a box of yummy chocolates and chips.
Either boredom, or you've eaten something sweet that is making you crave more.
Eating is a mental thing too. Your brain is enjoying the whole process of putting something in the mouth, tasting, chewing, swallowing and repeating. So when you suddenly stop it thinks, HEY! I want more!

There is nothing wrong with you. You are probably bored or going on a growth spurt, but you should see your doctor.Be sure not to keep junk food in the house.When i know its in there i think about it till i eat it!!!
have a proper diet n when u get on to looking for food ,divert yourself to some other interesting thing. :)
You might check with our doctor to get a check up and perhaps he can give you some healthy ideas.
