It tells the vegetarians exactly what they want to hear.
As a regular user of this section, I'm sure you've noticed that vegetarians and vegans respond positively to those that cater to their self-delusional fantasies, and respond negatively to those that don't- regardless of the accuracy of the post.
PETA operates on the same principle.
