Yes, but you can also gain weight by being a vegetarian.

Well, you could try to but you should still eat foods that give you the tight amounts of proteins and vitamins. But after you successfully lose the amount of weight you want, I suggest you to go back to eating meat, just eat a average amount and don't eat too much, because eating meat is healthier than being a vegetarian. But overall I suggest you to just cut down your original diet and not eat as much and drink lots of water and exercise more.

i've done a ton of diet research and the current thing i've been into is paleo. it's a very low carb and anti-grain. i've had awesome success and it's great for me, because i LOVE MEAT! so, i would suggest eating basically only meat and vegetables with some occasional nuts and fruit. also, doing only situps is not entirely an effective way to lose weight. it can definitely help, but by itself, it doesn't do much except give you some pretty amazing abs. i would suggest maybe adding some different strength exercises like push ups and adding some cardio like running or biking. i hope this helps!

well im personally a vegitarian and it doesnt make u lose weight, u just wont gain as much and as fast. but it really depends on how much u eat and how much u excercise whether ur a vegitarian or not. so i highly recommend not being a vegitarian for weight loss..
but thats just my opinion/advice soo u dont HAVE to take itt

I'm a vegitarian

I'm vegan, and I haven't lost any weight in the last 3 years.. I didn't gain any, though, I'm also a normal weight for my size, (120- 5'5). I do, however feel a lot healthier with the way I eat now.. Getting active might also help you.. I know I always feel a lot better after I workout.. Good luck, I hope you reach your goal.

Yes, but you still have to eat the right foods, limit your portions, and exercise, same as if you went on a diet and didn't become a vegetarian.

yes i am 13 years old and i used to wiegh about 130 pounds and now i weigh 112. i lost that weight in about 4 months by going vegan. i didnt do it to lost weight tho, i did it for ethical reasons

You dont have to Change your Choice on Foods That Extreme,

Contact your doctor, He will set up an average Weight plan, and if your really Desperate, you can take diet pills,

Being a Vegetarian is Very UNhealthy...

Your Body needs Protein...

"Eat Meat"
