Basically, a dog can eat meat at a pretty early age (as soon as it is off weening), as long as it is in moderation. Make sure the meat is not raw and otherwise contaminated. Don't overdo the meat though. As the site explains, it can cause problems for a dog of any age. A friend of mine occasionally makes homemade "dog biscuits" in the oven using mashed salmon and bread crumbs.

Canines are weird compared to humans, though. Many breeds can eat almost anything (don't feed them chocolate, though!!!).

Its best not to feed ur dog human food. It leads to table begging. A very unattractive habit. Unless ure feeding a raw diet stick to a quality dog food and treats. If u are planning to start a raw diet, please do ALOT of research and talk to ur vet first.
