Boots Natural Collection or Body Shop?!

Question: Boots Natural Collection or Body Shop?
So, im trying to move from being vegetarian to being vegan. and I wanna start replacing my old body products like shampoo, soap, face wash, deodorant and so on.

Ive checked that both body shop and boots natural collection, dont test their products on animals. but im still not sure if theyll have any animal byproducts?
i just wanted to ask for opinions on which one i should choose. boots seems cheaper, but i think body shop will be better. im not sure.

so you expert vegans out there. please help me out!
thanks :)

All of the boots natural collection make up is vegan, I am not sure about the shampoos etc though. The quality of the foundation isn't great and the range of colours aren't either but the mascara and powder is very good!

Some body shop products are vegan, but not all.

LUSH is quite a good brand, on all the labels they state if the product is vegan or not. The majority of their products are all natural and smell delicious!

Also, Barry M is a really good brand for make up, most of their products are vegan and have a symbol on the back to say so if they are not.

Hope I helped a little. Good luck! :D

Though body shop don't test on animals, a lot of their products contain animal products.
I don't know much about the Boots natuarl collection, so I can't say if they have animal products or not.

For me personally, Original Source is really good for shampoos, conditioners, and shower gel, and handwash. And they are not expensive.
Superdrug do a lot of own brand skincare etc products that are suitable for vegans - these are also not expensive.
If you want to splash out and treat yourself now and then, LUSH do not test on animals, and the vast majority of their products are approved by the vegan society. But, LUSH is pretty expensive, so I don't get everything from there. Their DreamCream is heavenly, and works better than any cream I've ever tried for the dry skin I get on my hands in winter. I always keep stocked up on that.
