Best to get this kind of info from your Vet. He or She will know what nutrients your dog needs for it's age size and overall health. There are also "natural" pet foods on the market you can try.

Might I ask why you posted this in the vegetarian section? Dogs, unlike humans, do need meat to be healthy.
That said, if you have the freezer space to do a proper raw diet, give him some raw organic meat mixed in with whatever food he's currently used to, and avoid corn and wheat ingredients, as dogs can't digest them, and they're common allergens. You could try mixing in a little bit of veggies, too. Gradually increase the amount of meat and decrease the amount of kibble until he's just eating meat and the occasional small amount of veggies. Avoid cooked bones, as they can splinter and hurt him.
If you don't have the freezer space for a proper raw diet, I'd go for Blue Buffalo kibbles over cooked meat, but that might be just me.
ETA: Don't trust everything your vet says about your dog's diet without doing your own research. Vets, like human doctors, only get about two weeks of education on animal nutrition, and it's usually sponsored by big kibble companies like Hills and Purina.
Did a bunch of research on raw diets when it looked like we might be getting a puppy.
I feed my Chihuahua a raw diet for his meals. For snacks I will give him pieces of banana, apples, carrots, hard boiled eggs and other natural, normal foods. I avoid any type of dry food since I find they have way too much corn in them. Sometimes I also give him a little bit of the dehydrated raw food- it looks like oatmeal packets- just to boost his nutrients. But the raw diet overall is the healthiest way to feed your pet.
Look into raw food diets for dogs, thats about as natural as it gets.
