Which multivitamin should I take?!

Question: Which multivitamin should I take?
I'm an 18 year old female, i'm 5'7 and wiegh 110 pounds. My doctor has me on 2000 IU of Vitamin D, that I have to take for the rest of my life. But I want to take a multi-vitamin as well because I really feel that I have a horrible unbalanced diet. I think I could really benefit from all the vitamins i'm missing out on. My mom recently purchased me One Daily women's multi-vitamin (Kroger brand). I haven't took any yet because one of my friends told me that you're not supposed to take 'women's' multi-vitamins until you're in your 20's..is this true? And it also contains 800 IU of Vitamin D. So i'm a little afraid with taking this and my other Vitamin D supplement I could then be over doing it on the vitamin D since I would be consuming 2800 IU of vitamin D every day. But I really have no idea. Any suggestions out there?

I think the best thing would be to ask your doctor if he recommends any type of multivitamin. Especially since you have to take so much vitamin D.
I haven't heard anything about not being allowed to take a women's multivitamin at a certain point... I mean, you're a mature woman, so I don't see why not. But, like I said, you should probably just ask your doctor.

It's pretty much a good idea for most people to take a multivitamin, just because it's a good way to ensure that you get enough vitamins in one day. We can't be perfect eaters all of the time.

I know KIRKLAND has the lowest priced multi-vitamins in capsules---Take at least once preferably AFTER breakfast-but i would suggest you visit 'musclefitness magazine's HERS website ( I wish I could recall) for MORE elaborate vitamin-mineral supplements for your age------
