Question: I am vegetarian and i want to know what kind of should a vegetarian eat?

well vegetarians eat vegies dont they? they r all healthy, so just eat them all. but i like corn the best, its yummy, lol.



I am a semi-vegetarian, meaning 70% of my diet consist of vegetables, fruits and whole grains. I have chosen this diet because I don't believe it is healthy to be 100% vegetarian. We need omega-3 rich fish, like salmon. Whole grains are an important filler, such as whole wheat pasta. Fiber is supposed to make you feel full faster. You have to look closely at labels though, because a lot of things say "Whole Wheat" but they have no fiber. It should have at least 3 grams to really count. The recommend having a whole grain, such as toast, pasta, rice..... at every meal, a vegetable at just about every meal too, and fruit for breakfast or desert. I like to cook, so I cook a lot of vegetarian soup, but for a fast fix, there are many combinations of sand witches, like peanut butter/pickle, grilled cheese/mixed vegetables and avocado/turkey. When I have more time I will look up more because I can't think of them right now and I have to go get ready for college. I'll email it to you.



I'm sort of the stereotypical vegan that eats a lot of salads... mainly because I like them. I like making dishes from beans (chickpeas, black beans, navy beans, and kidney beans), tempeh, lentils, couscous, and quinoa. I also love steaming vegetables (basically any type). Hmm... I like roasting brussel sprouts and grilling portabella mushrooms, too. Also, fruits: bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, and blueberries are my mainstays. Sometimes cantelope, grapefruit, pineapple, plums, peaches, and mangos if I have enough money to buy something extra.

I have anemia and that's y I am told to eat red meat which has iron in it. Ur choice is good. U should eat plenty of green leafy vegetables & fruits. Drink 6-8 glasses of water each day and adequate sleep is a must. But dont starve urself.. I'm 23, cud I be ur friend? I've got ur email..take care

I was a vegetarian until my parents cooked meat every night basically starving me. So I had to give up..
I just ate fruits and stuff [:
