How would a vegan go about this?!
But I have a question for other veg*ns on the matter of termination. As a vegan, I'm totally against it. So how would one cure an infestation in their home without harming the animals involved? This isn't an issue in my life right now, but for future reference is all. Thanks for helpful and informative answers!

The way I see it is - I have more obligation to the health and safety of my family than I do to the lives of "pest" animals. If they present any sort of health hazards - theyve got to go. Preferably in the most humane way possible, but unfortunately sometimes that isnt a possibility. I'd rather have a dead mouse than an infant with hemorrhagic fevers.
That being said, the best thing to do is to take precautions that would prevent the animals from getting in to the house in the first place. Keep the doors closed, the cracks sealed and the food put away.
i think if they call terminators, they have much more serious problems than mice & insects
if you mean calling an EXterminator... thats personal choice, there are repellants and live traps available in most hardware stores these days.... and some exterminators use these, or give them as an option to home owners

It's not up to your own religions and beliefs when your religions or beliefs start to effect other people.
People that have too many pets in their homes, will have the authorities in to remove those pets. If you have an infestation of something that could affect your neighbors, then they will come in and kill the pest, if or not you want to.
It's fine to not want to eat a certain type of food, but it is not fine to allow pests to thrive and breed in your home. Because now you are affecting the rest of our lives.
Bed bugs are a big problem right now, because people bring them from their homes to movie theaters, hotels, restaurants, and they are spreading everywhere.
Every time you walk in the grass, you are stepping on and killing things.
Vegans don't like to eat unfertilized eggs, but they have no problem menstruating and flushing their own unfertilized eggs down the toilet.
What about killing flu viruses? How far down do you go and still consider it an animal?
I respect Vegetarians. Especially those that call themselves Vegetarians, and not Vegans.
Being vegan is about doing what you can. It doesn't mean surrendering your house to vermin, or allowing your children to be bitten by fleas. You do what you can to prevent the infestation- keep things clean, keep food items stored at least a foot off the floor- and there are natural remedies- for instance, diatomaceous earth will take care of most insect problems.
But sometimes stronger measures are required. When we first moved in to our house, there was a roach infestation in the backyard. Every morning, there would be a dozen 3 inch long roaches floating in the pool. I didn't think twice before calling an exterminator- I just had to call a few before I found one who used less toxic chemicals.
