"Haas" are in the market. If paradise has "Haas" they are the same. There is a variety the size of a softball but they are not as tasty and I don't know the name.

According to Paradise Grove's FAQ section on their website, it says that the weight of their avocados ranges from 5 to 12 ounces. http://paradisegroveavocados.com/avocado-101/faq

The average Haas avocado that is readily available at the grocery store, is about 5 ounces, according to this blog about fruit. http://fruitspecies.blogspot.com/2007/09/avocado-hass-avocado.html

It seems that the answer is that Paradise Grove Avocados could possibly be bigger than ones at the grocery store, but probably by up to 6 or 7 ounces and depending on the individual avocado.

If you love avocados, try this recipe on my website: http://www.recipes-for-vegetarians.com/guacamolerecipe.html or one of the lunch ideas that includes avocados. The size of the avocado doesn't matter much for these recipes!

I hope you find this helpful!
