Have you all seen Mercy For Animals' new video Farm to Fridge?!
How do you feel about the effectiveness of videos that show the realities of factory farming? Did you first go vegetarian or vegan because of a video on factory farming? Will you share Farm to Fridge with friends, family, and/or co-workers?

Thanks for posting! :) We really appreciate it. I'm actually volunteering at Mercy for Animals' office right now and we're trying to spread this video like wildfire. I believe it's more powerful than Meet Your Meat or other similar videos, from a totally non-biased perspective, of course.
Thanks again for posting and I'm glad to see people are so interested in this film! Keep up the great work, friend!
Those videos are collected over a very long period of time, this does not happen every day on any farm. Videos like this have caused many farmers and their families to suffer and go out of business wether the video clips are legitimate or not. Animals rights people get jobs on the farm in order to exploit the farmers and shut them down by putting together a 3 minute video. I could watch these silly videos all day but they would not sway me towards being a vegetarian.
Considering the fact that despite such videos being in existence for more than a decade yet meat production, eating and consumption still reach record highs year after year, it's is easy to conclude that they are not very effective at all.
I already know how an animal goes from farm to fridge (or meat locker in my case). I also know how a wild animal goes from forest to fridge (or again my meat locker). I am not ignorant as to need a "painting by numbers" style video produced by someone else to show me the obvious. And neither are my friends, family and/or co-workers.
I just viewed this movie now i have to say i am very mad with ALL people who have chosen to go Vegan. I am a dairy farmer of 50 cows. We do not abuse the animals what so ever. i think that people that are starting all the Vegan debates and trying to tell other people to consider a Vegan lifestyle are "idiots" and GET OVER IT! the average size dairy farm is 100 head and i do not believe that 100 head i considered "factory farming". Animals as big as cows (2000 pounds) also have a very high pain tolerance. I bet most of the people who are Vegan freaks just get there information from youtube and have probably never visited a farm to see first hand that cows and other animals are not be abuse constantly. And also think about this if your children do something wrong are you just going to pat their back and say "its okay" ? probably not! So if your milking a cow and all the sudden she kicks you in the face chances are you will be a little bit pissed of and punish the cow. Just a very simple comparison. So all you Vegan freaks once again GET OVER IT! One more thing i am against animal abuse i just get pissed off when Vegans are trying to say that abuse takes place on every farm because it doesn't!
