Question: Colofac Medication Is It Suitable For Vegetarians And Is It Suitable For Muslims?
Colofac is irritable bowl syndrome. These are the ingredients;

Lactose
Starch
Providone
talc
Magnesium Stearate

Suger Coating contains.

Talc
Sucrose
Gelatin
Carnauba
Acacia
Carnauba Wax

My main inquiry is the Gelatin. Is it made from animals? or is that gelatine.?

Gelatin is another word for Gelatin. It is made from the connective tissues and sinew that holds together an animal's bones and skeletal muscles, so it isn't considered suitable for vegetarians. I doubt that gelatin used in medication would be Halal, either.

Also, Magnesium stearate can be made from animal oils, so isn't necessarily suitable for vegetarians, either.
