Only in moderation. Because it is a processed food, it is better to eat soy beans.
I ditto everyone elses saying that soy milk is healthier than cow's milk, it takes a little while to get used to...
The only thing I would say to watch for is drinking it as much as I do (three times a day), because it can cause "raised estrogen levels" and this should be watched as it can contribute to "cysts on the ovaries".. While your drinking the soy milk, I would say that having some tempeh during the day as well as miso is a good idea (they say that "fermented soy" like tempeh and miso is even better as it does not raise estrogen levels) and someone told me that they tend to eat more of the fermented soy in the Asian countries versus the tofu like we do in America, don't know whether or not that part is true or not, but I have heard it's better... So, long story short, soy milk is likely good for you, especially in moderation, like once per day...

The Chinese have been drinking soya milk for thousands of years, so yes, it is healthy, and sorry Rue it is healthier than regular milk.
It is especially beneficial to women who have menstrual issues and women going through menopause.
I am not a vegetarian but I am lactose intolerant and drink this every day.
Be aware that you can get full fat and light options as well as unsweetened (Alpro do all 3).
There has been some links to soy and possible cancer so just because both of my parents had cancer so just in case that is true I stay away. My fav is almond milk it is really good. U should give that a try
Im not saying it's true it's just what I have heard so needless to say the big C scares me so I just stick with the almond milk
Not only is it safe, it has many health benefits. But what I don't understand is why they call it 'milk.' It doesn't come from an animal, so, technically it isn't milk. I would prefer a name that describes what it actually is.
Of course it's safe to drink - if it wasn't, you wouldn't be able to buy it almost anywhere you can buy regular milk.
And of course drinking one cup a day is fine, so is more.
in a nutshell: yes. look under Common Debate Topics > Soy Scares, there are two articles that explain the hype about the "Soy Scares"
