Question about being a vegetarian?!
Answers:
Personally I don't trust all the farm labels that say "raised by happy chickens".
You have to go there in person, for real They can still be kept in cages 23 hours of the day, I don't believe what the labels say.
For eggs, it's easy enough to find a local farm that makes eggs, and go visit yourself.
I know in England ( where I'm from) there are small local farms in all parts of the country- you can go visit and see the flock of sheep- often there will be 20 sheep and that's it, and you can see they are happy and so on and it makes you feel ok if you must eat cheese.
Some farms only make dairy, and do not kill their livestock- where I'm from I know there is this system, I don't know where you live, but I'd find a local dairy that you can visit.
Oh my god. Being vegan or vegetarian is just stupid really, if you love animals so much why do you eat THEIR food. and what the hell is a happy chicken seriously? What, do you think they hop around singing "Oh happy days" like a black gospel? no, they are depressed by living on this farm and want to be free.
They treat them very good. Each animal has a 2-room condo with wall to wall carpeting, plasma TV, WiFi, and all the good food they can eat. Well, up to the point when they are slaughtered and then shipped to your local grocery store for you to eat.
Cheese is addictive, which is why you're craving it. Cows produce certain hormones in their milk that keep their baby calf coming back for more. Just stay away from it. Soon the cravings will go away. My cravings for cheese slowly weakened after about 2-3 weeks.
Yes. If the animals were treated poorly, they would output lower-quality and less eggs and milk, which is bad for the profitability of the farms.
Seriously, you should try a Big Mac just once. You will drop all this veggy stuff.
