What is unmelted shredded cheese even used for?!

Question: What is unmelted shredded cheese even used for?

I accidentally bought what I thought was shredded cheese but was actually processed and won't melt... I can't return it, so what does anyone use shredded cheese for without melting it?

Answers:

As a topping for tacos or baked potatoes.
In chili--not as good as real melty cheese, but passable.
Sprinkled in an apple-banana-raisin fruit salad

LOL I used to eat it plain before I was vegan :)

Vegan cheese is also delicious

I think people put it onto other foods like salads and Mexican dishes.

Top salads with it.or put in in pita sandwiches.

tacos and burritos, over noodles or tortilla chips,

sandwiches or if you put it in a sandwich maker it'll melt id put big money on it :P
